In addition to educating our members and the general SOM community about healthcare, we also help our members identify healthcare companies that are a good fit and at which they can excel.  Our communication with employers is crucial to the execution of this goal.

In conjunction with the Career Development Office, we work with a variety of firms to ensure that they get the exposure on campus that they want. Events that we have organized with different employers include:

Annual Healthcare Conference: Firms can gain exposure by sponsoring, attending, or speaking at our annual Healthcare Conference

Corporate Presentation: Either lunch-time or evening events

Healthcare Networking Night: Opportunity for firms to have  bigger exposure on campus

Company Trek to your office: Students visit your offices for half-day

“Lunch & Learn” on Campus: Lunch time events where firms send a couple of representative to provide insights into a particular practice areas

Firm Spotlight: Firms can provide content for our weekly newsletter, we have found in the past that a paragraph or so providing an insight into a recent hire (1-2 years out of school) experience is the most popular
